Es ist am grössten Sauarai aber diese Workshop ist schon zu!. Diese war ein Detektor dass war diese Woche in ETH Hönggerberg.
Heute hatte Ich Meine “Deutsch als Fremdsprache” Prüfung. Es war schwieriger als was wir haben vorgesetzt, aber, jö, denke Ich habe Ich es bestanden… höffe Ich!!.

More thing’s I’d like to say about today.
First of all is that I got really happy when I saw that it’s
now possible to see the available subjects for the next
semester. I was willing to see it since I was wondering which
will there be and if there were going to teach some that I
saw in last years catalogue.
I really feel like I will be doing mainly Nuclear, Particle
and ‘Solid State’ Physics. Joel Mesot will be teaching the
second part of Neutron Scattering for Solid State Physics
(it’s a two semesters long subject) and that, of course, I am
taking it. He will be also teaching one called Neutron
Scattering. I must talk to him to know more about it but if
it’s not going to be like the same we saw in the present
part, I am enrolling in it too.
I have also seen ReaktorPhysik, Particle Detectors and some
others related to Particle and Nuclear Physics, as Muon Spin
Rotation. I already downloaded all the class notes (PDF) of
this subject and took a on-sight view of them. They seem
nice. It’s a very used technique mSR at PSI too. I must say
that most of these subjects, almost all, are given by people
from PSI or CERN.
Actually I am listening to “Blutengel”, die theme “Keine
Ewigkeit” I like it so much.

Galerier is not finished yet. In deed it’s giving me a strange “Segment violation” error from time to time if I call certain new function but… well, gotta go over it.

Some facts that I have noticed/learned/remembered recently…
(The first is dedicated to Enlavin’s freakness)
* Wumpscut’s logo is copied from that of the Weyland-Yutani corporation. This company is that of the Alien Saga, the one that owned the Nostromo ship and the stations, etc. Also the one reusing’s Blade Runner’s “Building Better Worlds!”. Did anyone noticed it?.
* Second, the energy liberated in a Fision reaction increases at a five million percent per second. That is, it’s five million times bigger each second that passes by (when it’s not controlled). When moderated it’s not such big of course.
Then should I mention these:
- Marisa told me that when she was coming to Zürich last time, she saw a big tower of vapor coming through the clouds just nearby the Zürich Airport. This time I was looking forward to see it and since there were no clouds I could easily see another fision reactor just around the city. I also saw three reactors together about 200Km from here. Excluding them and taking into account the other two we have at PSI I think it’s amazing how many do we have here.

* Tonight it’s started to rain. It’s a pity because Lgs is coming tomorrow, still don’t know for how long (yes, he’s going on Friday to Sao Paulo but, are we eating together on Friday or is he leaving too soon for that?).
Update: it seems Lgs is leaving at 08:00 so… no time to eat… f***
